Project Management Feature Requests

I'd like to customize the emails that go out when a task gets assigned to a client workflow status. I want to tell my clients WHAT they need to do in each stage via email.

Could we add the email functionality to the + dropdown from within a project? Further to this, would also love project tokens added. For example, when composing an email (from within a project) l could automatically have the project name pulled into the subject line etc.

I have multiple tasks with relative due dates set up in my project templates that need to be assigned to the client when the project is created. I'd love the ability to assign tasks in the project template level to a generic "client" record that when it's added to an actual client's dashboard, the assignment automatically tags this client and sends them the notices that they have tasks to complete. Currently we're only able to assign tasks to team members. This would save me from manually having to do this each time a new project is activated from my project template!

Are there are any plans to incorporate a feature that allows users to create replies to the "Notes" feature within Tasks. This addition would enable project collaborators, like myself, to add contextual comments to existing notes, fostering better communication and organization within the platform. This is like the features we all use on platforms like our texting apps, Slack and others. Currently, I am using a workaround by editing someone else's comment and adding a header followed by my text, but this method has its limitations. Having a dedicated reply function would greatly enhance the usability and effectiveness of the "Notes" feature for all users.

I think it would be good if there was a way I can have all my steps and reminders throughout the project without the client needing to see it, but still allowing them to get a top-line/overview of the project progress and collaboration/commenting on tasks marked for their feedback. Not sure if this is the best way to do it. But currently it feels like clients can have complete access or barely any and not so much in between. And no way to have my full process unless I want a client seeing every minute detail of what I am doing on their work.

Basically, I'd love to see subtasks look more like their parent tasks, with the ability to add assignees, due dates, descriptions, statuses, etc. (I'm thinking something along the line of the way ClickUp does subtasks.)

Does it make sense to have anything in the same view but in the collapsed state? If I don't recall if that project has been invoiced I have to expand each project to see that detail.

I would like to be able to paste images from my clipboard into the Task description field, and Task Comments.

Overdue tasks still show up as "Due Today" - it would be great to have these in a separate section in red text or something like that (e.g., ClickUp)

It’d be awesome to be able to make different custom tags for different income streams (writing, yoga, reiki, etc) and even a tag for personal projects would be awesome so that people wouldn’t to use a different app for those projects. My personal projects often overlap with professional things so it makes sense to keep them all in one place. This might also be a way to just add the client tag to the note or to-do.
