I am just starting to use tickets and being able to track how much time is spent on each ticket easily is vital as I bill by the hour. Now I have to manually create a task for each ticket and that is a recipe for inaction for me. A simple solution might be a tick box in each ticket that shows the ticket as a task attached to a specific project so we can use the time tracking and all the features of the project management system. If this is not possible then perhaps an option to "create a connected task" that creates a linked task to the ticket. Thank you.

I would like my contractors to be able to track their time against "tickets" as well as tasks, however I see there is already a request to be able to create a task from a ticket so we might look at that as a workaround.
