Email to task

When you want to create a task based on the contents of an email message, you don’t have to re-enter all the information. Instead, click the message and drag it to Tasks on the navigation bar.
The contents of the message, except attachments, are copied to the body of a new task. A task created this way is the same as if you create a task from scratch, except you save time as contents from the message are automatically added to the new task. Just like for any task, you can set a due date, add a reminder, or assign the task. Also attachments are included.

For emails that are not in the Moxie Inbox, it would be brilliant if they could be forwarded to a special email address to create a task.

Would love to see this, it would be great to be able to convert email to tickets too!

Pete Fairclough You can.. don't know if this is a new feature or not, or if you found it but under tickets / settings there is an email address you can email in to create a ticket

This would be a fantastic feature -- many of my emails are actionable items. A click from the inbox to add it to a task would be fantastic

I'd love this, many times emails are actionable and need to be copy pasted into tasks. Plus having the email connected to the task means easy replying too.

I'd like this as well. A way for my ongoing client to submit a project request and have it appear immediately in my projects list.

This sounds similar to what I'm looking for ... like Trello/Atlassian's "Creating Cards by Email" function, where I can forward an email from my Inbox and it creates a card in Trello

I have a similar desire for this feature. Closest I can explain is with Asana. Ability to create task from email as well as option to sync replies to that same task. This saves us tons of hours and would be a feature that helps cement people into the Moxie ecosystem as an alternative:
