Add Contact to more than one Client

Currently, contacts can only be assigned to one client. I would like the option to add a contact to more than one client.

I have several clients who own hole or a part of several different business. Would be great if I could connect them to the same contact. 
Instead of having to add "David 1", "David 2" etc to different business. Also want to keep business and conversations notes at one place, so I don't miss anything.
Possible?
