Invoicing formatting

Sometimes a line item in an invoice adds extra white space on the bottom, other times it doesn't. It happens randomly (I've tried doing hard returns vs. soft returns, but nothing gets rid of it once it's there.)
The only way to remove it is to delete the line item entirely and re-enter it in.

Something changed again in the line spacing on invoices.
Last time I had a related invoice line-spacing issue (June 2025, see my prior notes here), I manually re-created all of my products and services. That seemed to fix the issue.
Today I started an invoice. Added many product/services. Realized I needed a new one. Saved the invoice.
Navigated to Accounting-product/services and added the new one.
Navigated back to the saved invoice.
Added this new product/service to the invoice.
The line spacing is smaller than all of the prior items added to the invoice.
It's not AS tight as prior reports shown here, but it's not consistent with the other products/services.
I no not format any text font or sizing when adding them to the products/services lists, nor on the invoices, except for some forced returns or bolding of words.
This current invoice now has 3 different line spacing settings for text that's about the same size. (Client info at the top, original line spacing for the "old" product/services", and the tighter line spacing for the item I just added.
Also noticed that when saving products/services and entering things manually on an invoice, the forced return function works opposite of most design programs.
When hitting a standard "hard return" - it does not use any "paragraph after" spacing and results in what I'm guessing is a single line space.
When typing a "soft return" (shift+return), it results in a larger line space - maybe 1.5 or 2, with extra space after the first line.
ALSO - on the invoice text editor as well as other text editors - when initially selecting the text, it usually reports as 17pt.
When you select 14pt, the text gets much larger and it becomes a guessing game to the relative font sizing.
And it's impossible to go back to the "17pt" size that the text originally loaded in with.

We have made some changes to the invoice builder to hopefully eliminate this issue.

This is persisting even after I've tried removing the text formatting via the T with the x nearby (in the Products/Services listings), and reloading the items section to my invoice templates, and starting new templates from scratch... In some cases it's even more erratic as attached here. Different line spacing within the same product & description.(See lines starting with "corners" vs quantity below it (in my product listing there is actually a double space here, but it puts even less line spacing when used on an actual invoice), and the 2nd product chunk is irregular throughout.
I do typesetting/typography as part of what I bill through Moxie, so this makes me a bit nervous that clients see this before their final projects.
This was not happening a few weeks/a month ago, I have lots of invoices saved which show consistent and nice line spacing that matches what is shown in the invoice template item block. Then this started happening out of the blue. I seem to recall having the issue a while back but don't remember the resolution.

I notice this quite frequently too. As well as the line spacing on invoice items not being consistent. For a while, it was spacing things nicely. This week, everything is crunched together and even overlaps text.
I had made a change to 2 words in some of the saved items/products this week, and the line spacing started displaying incorrectly after that.

The work-around is to recreate every product and service. Now that I've done that again today, I remember this being the same situation from a few months ago.
Is there a particular action within an account that would cause the saved product/saving line spacing to go wonky? Or is this a system-wide change?
Two things I know I changed was 1.) a couple tweaks to my invoice templates and 2.) a few wording tweaks within my saved product/services. But I do not remember/have record if the line spacing issue happened immediately after either change.
