Looking at the comments, I see how difficult it would be to accomplish this. For people in the US, I've found an inexpensive solution that was once called GoDaddy Bookkeeping; it's been resurrected under new ownership. Geoff Mina: is it OK to share the current name of the software? Maybe you and they could partner somehow for that estimated tax function.

This would be very tough to accomplish accurately for jurisdictions with complex tax laws and may lead to misleadingly lower or higher taxes owed than the actual amount. This might work for jurisdictions with simple taxation, but it is also super easy to calculate the tax owed in 5 seconds in a spreadsheet or a calculator.

It would be tough to properly disclaim this so that users won't feel disappointed when the results are inaccurate. From a business or usability perspective, I don't see an upside to Moxie implementing this.

Yes I would love to have this so it can be included as a line in the profit vs loss section. And I'd like to be able to manually add/adjust the % of tax I think I will owe at tax time.

In Denmark this is called "moms" and is at 25%, meaning you pay an additional 25% of the amount. Would be nice to have an option to add this to expenses and recurring expenses.

Furthermore it would be awesome to see have an extra insights "bracket" showing how much money is made from that extra 25% value added tax.
