I track time for all my jobs but I usually charge a fixed rate.
At the moment I have to go through and change all time entries to non-chargeable at the end of the job. It would be good to set the timer to either chargeable or non-chargeable by default.

You can just mark the project you are tracking time to as "Fixed Price" and then the hours tracked to that project will automatically be non-billable.
