The communicator needs a chat option for client convenience. Hectic's desktop texting is perfect for me but inconvenient for clients so I switch out to Google Chat or email. Going back and forth on email isn't ideal, as we all know.

Using Google Chat, Slack, or other messaging apps defeats the purpose of having an integrated communicator.
