BUG: Moving a task to a new project moves ALL time entries

Not sure where we should enter bugs now? Hope it's ok to do it here.
When we move a task from one project to another project it moves ALL the time entries for ALL the tasks in the original project.
Example: Project for creating a large multi page document. Has around 15 tasks. One task needed to be moved to a new project in order for the time applied to that task to be moved. New project was created. Task was moved to the project. All tasks in the original project against all tasks were moved to the new project ie. no tasks were left in the original project.

Hey Lisa - Is this what you did when you moved the task? I just tried to recreate it but did not see the other tasks move to the new project. https://www.loom.com/share/d7eb9dfcc4764b31919c38b6069fe197

Austin Morrow Yes that is what I did but... it's not the other tasks that moved... it's the time entries for the other tasks only that moved... does that make sense?
I mentioned in a bug report awhile ago that when we moved a task from one project to another the time entries in timesheet didn't move over. That was supposedly fixed.
I can't be 100% certain if this new issue has always happened since the fix, or if it's something new.
Here is a step by step of what I did:
- Move Task A from Project 1 to Project 2 the way you did it in your screen recording.
- Went to the timesheet area in Project 2 (new project) to check that the two time entries had moved to the new project. Saw that there were a lot of time entries - not just two, and realised that there were time entries for tasks that were not in Project 2.
- Went back to Project 1 and check the time entries area - it was empty; all the time entries were missing.
- Went back to Project 2 and moved Task A BACK TO PROJECT 1 and thankfully all the time entries moved back to project 1 as well.
- As a temporary fix (as I needed the time entries in the new project) I created a new task in Project 2 and moved the two TIME ENTRIES over to that new task in Project 2, which successfully moved the time entries and left an empty task in Project 1 which I deleted.
Does this make sense? Sorry it's kind of complicated to explain! I would record it but I've invoiced the job out, and I'm scared things might get mucked up.

Lisa Coulson: That makes sense. I just pushed a fix. We should be able to get that deployed tonight. I'll keep an eye out and let you know when its live.
